A full renovation of your sash windows includes; A light sand on the box and any minimal repairs will be carried out, The cords will be replaced with a modern nylon cord with traditional
aesthetics, the sashes themselves will be ground back to bare timber and minor repairs will be carried out, any loose or damaged putty will be replaced, the sashes will have the glass
cleaned and have exterior faces preserved with ‘Dulux weather shield' timber preservative.
The window will then be assembled with our traditional looking bead with our modern, yet subtle, draught-proofing system. All beads will already be primed and sealed on fitment.
The timber we use in larger repairs will be very high quality, joinery grade, timber. Other, smaller repairs, will be carried out with a specialist ‘Repair Care' resin. This resin is specifically
designed for wooden window repairs. It seals the timber, prevents further rot and sets as hard as timber with outstanding long term durability.
